Final day: what we need to do

We know exactly what we need to do now.

Win and we're safe. Simple as that.

Draw and we're safe IF Birmingham don't win. If Birmingham beat Norwich then we're down.

Lose and we're safe IF Birmingham also lose. If Birmingham draw then we're safe as long as we don't lose by 4+ goals. If Birmingham draw then we're safe.

In other words... COME ON NORWICH!!
We aint scoring, or winning, come on Norwich and new Squad next year

Trying to be positive in a desperate situation, with the squad they have, even if Norwich do rest 2 or 3 players next week, the replacements should be fresh and raring to go to impress for the Play-offs.

Norwich should still have enough to at least not lose...

Norwich's recent away results:

W 1-0 v Preston
D 2-2 v Sheff Weds
L 3-1 v Leicester (they were terrible that day but it was Leicester so...)
W 3-0 v Stoke
L 3-1 v Boro (they were 1-0 up but then had a man sent off and crumbled)
D 1-1 v Blackburn
D 2-2 v QPR

As long as Birmingham don't play like Leicester and Norwich don't have a man sent off, we should be fine.

It'll probably go like this:

Half-time and Argyle are 4-0 down to Hull, and looking awful.

Birmingham are 1-0 up against Norwich.

West Brom are cruising and look good for a win.

Argyle are going down at this point.

Meanwhile, Norwich are only above Hull on goal difference, but another 3 goal swing would change that.

We quickly go 5-0 down on the restart, Norwich go into panic mode and get their arses into gear, but a goal's not forthcoming.

Just to show Norwich we're not messing about we ship another 2 goals and they're now missing the play-offs.

Norwich really go all out and equalise near the end. Though both Birmingham and Norwich can get what they need from 1-1, the game's intense 2nd half has left the players not thinking clearly, so Norwich quickly score a 2nd with their momentum.

Argyle survive through the brilliant tactic of losing 7-0! 🤣

Just a shame our goal difference wasn't a bit higher, otherwise we could lose 7-0 and tolerate a Birmingham draw...

Norwich have nothing to play for basically, Birmingham do and in front of their own fans, what do you think!. It's written in the stars, we can't score a goal and barely get a shot on target. No brainer especially with our "defence". League One ain't so bad although we could have done with Cheltenham staying up, who are we going to play away to next Boxing day now!!.

Someone else has already said it but we have not been in the bottom 3 ALL season! It would just be typical if the footballing Gods conspire against us and send us into the relegation zone on the last fri**ing day.
But, it could get even worse than that...a certain Jay Stansfield to send us down with a last minute winner. Noooooo!

I still think we can away with this, but if we are, it will be because Brum aren't good enough, rather than us winning.
If we are to go down, then at least we gave a good account of ourselves and went toe to toe for half a season. Plus, there's always trips to Lincoln, Peterorough, Cambridge, Northampton and Mansfield to look forward to.
