Might be a good film on the other side .. and there's Channel 4 racing .. oh and Money for Nothing.

I've done without a screen for 58+ years attendance. When the old screen was there, I used to rely on me already knowing the score and having a watch to tell the time, can't see the need to change that.
I already get (unwanted) Premier score updates from the bloke behind me:
Prod prod 'Pogba's just scored!'
'Really? Oh hip ******* hooray!!'
I'll be annoyed if we get (other) score updates on the screen.
What is it about: 'I don't care!' that they don't get??
I want to watch the match, I need to concentrate FFS!

I'm with you Pogles

The screen is still on it's way. At yesterday's senior greens Andrew Parkinson checked the tracker app on his phone and it is around the suez canal heading for Tangiers, where it will transfer to another ship bound for Southampton. It'll be a little while yet.

Saw the site of the big screen today and from my seat in block 12 it would be difficult to see, I think it would have been better sited one block further round the away end. Whichever block it's in the people in that block
will have to stand up and turn around to see it I know it's all about the cost but I would have thought a second screen in Bobbies corner would have been visible from all parts of the ground.

I’m in block 12 and I’ll be able to see it easily.

Having seen the eyesore that is Bobbys Garden on the match highlights, I’m beginning to wish the club had either placed the screen there or bought a second one to hide its ugliness - that corner really does spoil the look of a very smart stadium.

Yeah I think all of us are a tad confused about that corner. Can only think there must be plans for it, but apparently wasn’t suitable for the screen… I’d rather seating there anyway :p

don't think anyones phone works mine doesn't inside the ground
This has always been the case for me too, except yesterday it worked fine. Could check my bet throughout the game, struggled a bit to load towards the end but it did load.

If the attendances hold up this season, my money's on next summer - when I think the Mayflower Upper work will be done - that Bobby's Garden will be replaced with some form of seating at the same time. No roof, no frills - just make a proper job of it that looks smart too.

I know it's not as easy as some suggest, but I bet it could still be done relatively inexpensively especially if you have the contractors in the stadium anyway doing the Mayflower Upper work. It's probably the cheapest way (£ per seat) to install say 400 more seats anywhere in the stadium.

Agree, I can see fans in the Lyndhurst continually standing up to see the screen so spoiling the match for others. Should have been positioned further around that corner.
