His fee will be significantly higher than £20-30k.
He’s worth £200-400k at the low end

I really rate our captain, and I think I voted him POTY last year. However, the harsh fact is that at RWB Sessegnon is an upgrade, and one with probable resale value. Joe potentially returns to holding midfield. Question is what do Fulham want and does Schuey and his back room team agree that is worth paying? His fee will be significantly higher than £20-30k.

And a few more some good strikers in there
Thats definitely consistentIf you want consistency why are you discounting Alfie May’s spell at Doncaster, where he managed four seasons consisting of 4, 3, 2 and 1 league goal…
Don’t agree Sessegnon is an upgrade. He may be technically better but Joe will run until he drops for the team and deserves to keep his place.I really rate our captain, and I think I voted him POTY last year. Agreed. We missed Joe 90 on the run in last season.Don’t agree Sessegnon is an upgrade. He may be technically better but Joe will run until he drops for the team and deserves to keep his place.
And his wage expectations will be championship level too unfortunately. Our best bet/only realistic chance is for him to sign his Fulham contract and return to us on loan. His fee will be significantly higher than £20-30k.

Upgrade is the wrong word. Very different players with different strengths. It wouldn't hurt to have another option on that side. Nobody is going to beat Joe on work rate energy desire etc. But there other useful qualities that Joe doesn't have.Don’t agree Sessegnon is an upgrade. He may be technically better but Joe will run until he drops for the team and deserves to keep his place.
I’d take a goals per game factor pretty highly for a striker.
I get the sentiment but as long as the player is fit, within budget and not a complete tosspot (Ladapo) I rate the ‘goals per game’ element one of, if not the highest of stats that I would be interested in.
Next season… you have a choice of Jephcott OR May being at the club.So you’ve said it’s ludicrous to say there’s only a little between them, but also that goals per game is one of the highest stats you’re interested in. Based on the goal stats from Wikipedia, excluding non-league:
Jephcott GPG (all comps): 0.32
May GPG (all comps): 0.28
In league games:
Jephcott: 0.32
May: 0.24
There are several websites that state players wages and they quote between 1600 and 5000 pounds per week as his wages on his last contract. And his wage expectations will be championship level too unfortunately. Very possible that Ryan Law is on a 12 month contract and the club have an option to extend, by sending him out on loan for the season, he benefits by getting regular game time and the club can monitor his progress. What will be interesting is what level of club will take him, if he goes to a club below Conference National, then he would need to excel, be recalled and then go out again after Christmas to a higher level.
However, the fact that Ryan is earmarked for a loan move would suggest that Conor Grant is unlikely to be leaving this summer, as this would leave us with Grant and Miller competing for the left wing back role .
