We are not controlling the midfield at all. Fox, Grant and Ness are just outmanned in the middle of the park. We definitely are missing Sarcevic. I would not be surprised to see Sawyer come on so that Smith-Brown can go forward with Carey moved out to the right and Lamieras sacrificed. Maybe Songo’o replacing Grant with Fox and Ness taking a more central presence to move the ball wide. It is clear why DA is still looking for a midfielder.

Always going to struggle with new players in the team.Give it half a dozen games before unleashing the firing squad.

Surely that’s what pre season is supposed to sort out? Especially considering we had the squad sorted so early in the summer this year.

Difference playing pre season games and league one teams.Having said that after the Yeovil results alarm bells started ringing :sad:
