Southend look very decent and get balls in the box at ease.

Should be 1-4 down

This is a bad performance from Argyle. Southend could have been two or three goals clear. We look slow, small and indecisive.

Also it was never a penalty for Argyle's first goal. Shocking from the linesman to give it.

Need to improve second half as so far only one team looks like winning.

Southend are up for this. Win every 2nd ball, quicker in every department and swift, crisp passing. If we don’t improve I can’t see us getting much from this game. Eddy only stand out player IMO. Pretty poor stuff and the manager setting a poor example by getting involved with their bench. Not impressed and happy to take 1-1 now...

Very poor 1st half. Southend are all over us in most areas and should be well clear by now. Ours didnt look like pen and no one argued about theirs.

We are losing battles all over the place. One bright pkayer for me was Moore the other new players pretty meh.

Nothing doing in midfield and Tayls feeding off scraps.

Borh mannagers sent off was quite comical.

Oh dear very poor aligned to the first 4 months last season.

Argyle all over the place. Southend have torn us apart at will. But for Macey it would be 1-3 and an easy first half for them. Ness and Lamieras have gone missing. Most unlike Argyle - no shape and hoof it to Taylor who has no one near him. Adams not able to influence tactics now he’s off. Need a rethink half time.
