The 60s have a great romanticism, but there was also lead paint and the threat of mutually assured destruction so idk, still looks like a fantastic decade to have experienced.
60s-80s may have been peak humanity, feels all downhill since then.

Yeah, I caught the end of the 60s really, having been born in 56 and it was a great time to be alive (as were the 70s for me, personally).
I think the threat of mutually assured destruction helped make those days what they were. Away from the politicians and the skinheads, most of the populace seemed to be in tune with each other, to me at least... or was it the drugs? Great times!!

Millbay Station. Liners would come into the Sound, put passengers on tenders to take them into Millbay. They would get the train to London via this line.

The photo of the Lyndurst Gate reminds me of the absolutely vile toilets just to the left in the picture. You could smell them as soon as you entered throgh the turnstiles. It was even worse on the way out as they would have been used at halftime.
