I don't think it's bad so far. We've not lost any key players (except Toumbs and Edwards albeit hopefully briefly). We've brought in replacements for those. We've got rid a lot of "fillers".

And of course we can still sign out of contract players for a while yet.

Ideally I'd like to have seen another forward in but... Good business so far IMHO.

It might actually liven the thread up if we had a "sending off". At the moment this thread is like two Tony Pulis teams playing each other for the eighth time in a season. Everyone doing (or saying) exactly what you would expect them to do/say, no flair or originality, no chance of a positive result, just an unsatisfactory stalemate until the teams meet again next week (or tomorrow in Pasoti terms).

I'm sure someone will be along to tell me not to read it if I.m so bored, because that's what usually happens.....

At time of writing this, No

We’re in transition. We’ve no prospect of going up and the odds of relegation have lengthened. It’s all about stabilising ourselves in league 1 this season. No point going daft in the window as a result Avoid the herd mentality and all that. Better to do your serious business in a measured way, taking time and care. In the summer.

Adams is still learning his trade in this league and I expect a safety first approach this season. Bank isn’t worth breaking at this point in time. We’re making continued improvement year on year and we need to be patient.

Nope that is the least important bit of it.

Looking for replacements, keeping the wage bill within the fair play limits (although Man C seem to ignore that particular limit) and trying to strengthen where we can.
