I put some thought in the elimination table thread. draw is probably best. However the Sheffield result tomorrow is key, should they lose then yeah pushing Huddersfield down is better.
I can see benefits of a Huddersfield win, it means Birmingham can only get to 49 pts, so we jut need a point to stay above them and Huddersfield would have to win at Ipswich.
Sheffield loss then they have to win their last two, so a Birmingham win would prevent Huddersfield passing us.
Ask me again this time tomorrow
Yeah let’s see where we stand tomorrow. I do think a Huddersfield/Birmingham draw is best. If we were to lose against Millwall (& if so without a bad dent to our GD) that leaves Huddersfield 3 points behind us with a worse GD & Birmingham 1 point behind us again with a slightly worse GD, with just the 1 game to play. Birmingham could be our backup if Wednesday caught us, but again that depends on their result tomorrow. I might just sleep for the next 2 weeks & wake up & then it’s all over.

Currently have a 5 goal swing on Birmingham, 16 goal swing on Huddersfield & a 20 goal swing on Sheffield Weds
Hopefully Blackburn will have to much for Sheff Weds tomorrow

I don't fancy us against Millwall but Hull might be out of play-offs so maybe we can grab something, still got a horrible feeling SW will jump us on the final day.

Neil Harris is no mug
His team will not be on the beach & will be stubborn, streetwise & physical
Next Saturday will be a repeat of today in term of opposition

I don’t expect an easy game but a safe Millwall might be better than a Millwall fighting to stay up. Again it’s football so we know sometimes teams play better when they’re relaxed & don‘t have pressure on them so who knows.

It’s a shame we didn’t have Ian Foster for the Stoke game today. I’m not convinced we would have lost 3-0. That said, we take the highs (beating Leicester) with the lows. Looking forward to securing Championship football next season and seeing Schuie again (most likely at Barnsley!).

I have a very scary feeling that it will have to be if we are to survive..
We have only scored 5 goals in our last 10 league games.
I can't honestly see where our next goal will come from. The last 3 goals (spread over 4 games) have been:
Rotherham - Single piece of brilliance from Whittaker and fine individual finish from Mumba.
QPR - Own goal from a panicked defense.
Leicester - Brilliant individual finish from Bundu.
I don't think we create anything at all as a team, we just rely on individual flashes of brilliance.

Great post. Agreed. We need to remember what we’re good at. Forget scoring charts. If in doubt, smash it.

It has to be. I don’t see us getting any more points after today.

We’re in limp mode with no one willing to raise others in times of fight.

I also think Edwards has played his last match for Argyle.
