No, he referred to it spoiling the enjoyment of the vast majority but didn’t explain why. I’m genuinely interested as I can’t understand how people feel so strongly one way or another. As long as it’s a victimless crime, of course. For the reasons he just stated is my guess

Correct and boy did I celebrate. Actually I started celebrating after Daveeeed scored and didn't stop for hours🤣🤣Last time we clinched promotion to the Championship (and as Champions, too) was that wonderful day when we beat Holloway's QPR 2-0. Trigger & Friio... fantastic! One of the all-time great Argyle days - with a party atmosphere to match.
I could be wrong, but i believe not a single supporter came onto the pitch, during the game or afterwards.
I’ve misunderstood then as I thought we were still talking about pitch invasions.People can’t see the pitch through the smoke, people who may be asthmatic may get it in their throats, if it lands on someone it can badly burn them (at worst) or stain their clothes (at best)… the list goes on and on.
Or just like me, they find it all a bit cringe, even more so if it’s against the rules and would cost Argyle money.

Type ‘Green Smoke Flares’ into the Amazon search engine and you will get myriad options. The use of flares/ smoke bombs has become more widespread in the English leagues and are prominent in Europe for years.
Genuine questions as I have never actually seen or held one.
Where the hell do they get them from?
Are they actually dangerous?
Is there heat involved?
Are the actually illegal both inside or outside the football environment?
Trust me I have no intention or interest as a 60 yo bloke in getting any but I am just curious. Flares seem to ignite arguments amongst the fan base .
Sweeping generalisation alert - but I do feel those born post-war up to say mid 1960s really did, generally speaking, strike it lucky as far as football's concerned. They were able to enjoy/experience the fun and, at times, chaos of the terraces as teenagers/young adults and now are able to enjoy all seater stadiums and all round more pleasant days out in their later years.Next up:

From someone who has supported Argyle since the early 70s... what an ignorant, entitled and insulting post.Next up:

If you want pitch invasions, then the 80’s would also be the wrong era for you. High fences with barbed wire and police dogs put a stop to that.Next up:
