First half was entertaining, second half less so. Mayor had a cracking first half and must be in consideration for Saturday. Randell had a decent game, as did Gillesphey, Edwards gave a gutsy performance. As others have noted some of the young players clearly aren't at this level. These games give players game time and provide some home viewing entertainment for £10 - it could be much worse and I expect England probably are !

We lose all of these games but the point is it is a chance for the youngsters to show us what they are about. Sadly to a man they were awful. Tomlinson, Law and Shirley looked ready made for Truro, really disappointing.

What’s wrong with Truro? These are very young and inexperienced players, and they may not even make it in professional football yet. One hasn’t even sat his GCSEs.
And they’re playing Swindon Town.
Perhaps we need to adjust expectations?
From youth team football to men's professional standard is an incredible leap.

Mayor looked good but unfortunately the fringe and young players looked bang average.

We probably need a few additional players if we are to continue our push.

Camara as lost his form at the moment, I would start with Major. Agard scored a goal and that was it, contributed nothing else. The youngsters ran around a lot but created nothing. Wilson was only okay, Tomlinson is the pick of younger players. The positives was Mayor who for 45 minutes was the best player on the park by far. Gillespie is a really good player and will improve, he is going to be a valuable player for us.
Clueless. Top of the League, Camara instrumental in that and you want to drop him.

Look, what would you do, keep Mayor on the bench when he is in good form, against Camara who as been brilliant for us but needs a rest. Allow Mayor 60 minutes, then give Camara 30 minutes, this would benefit both players.

Well beaten at home by a League 2 team, albeit a decent one.

Something of a reality check for those who have been telling us what a strong squad we have.

Most of our youngsters would struggle to make an impression in League 2, never mind being good enough for League 1 if required this season.

Bit harsh on Ryan Law personally, I don’t think he was that bad overall tonight.

How can you say Mayor is in good form he has only just returned from injury.

We could have been at least two goals up by half time, but wasted chances. The second half was all round quite poor.
Mayor on the pitch seemed to make the difference. He had a good run out - POSITIVE (y)

However, we were not cohesive at all after Mayor´s departure. I thought Law was ok, but no-one stood out apart from DM.

Obviously this is not a competition that many (if any) fans care about, but it does put some miles into the legs of the squad, there is basically nothing else on offer for the players on the periphery, so perhaps we should see that as a small positive.
