From a football point of view I don't mind what shade of green it is but if I was to wear the shirt as leisure clothing away from the ground it would be dark green every time.

I would imagine if you asked 500 people over 30, 497 would say Emerald green.

If you asked the same of people under 20, 497 would say Dark Green.

Certainly it's a split vote.

And 500 people over 60, most would say dark green (but not IJN).

Over 60s would probably want green and black!

We are only able to see a poor photo (with a Ginsters logo superimposed onto the shirt), with better photos and actually seeing it in the flesh it may look better.

I'd rather the club had waited and presented the shirt a lot better than they have today.

Been put under too much pressure from GA1984 and capitulated.

This a really poor choice of design. Without that stripe I believe the shirt would look incredibly smart and probably would have been a favourite of mine and I imagine others too.

Now I don't own/run a business (and nor do I claim to do so either) but surely it doesn't take much 'financial knowledge' to understand that:

The more popular the shirt is = the more fans would purchase it = more money coming into the Club.

It seems REALLY shortsighted that the Club wouldn't 'see' this. I am fully understanding that Argyle may not have the same choice as other clubs but surely at the very least there is a choice.

And if there is a choice, why not roll those choices out to the fans? Get some fan engagement/involvement. Show us what Argyle have been offered as choices and let us decide!

I know football is football no matter what shirt you play in, but to us, the fans, the design of that all important shirt means so much to us.
