I quite liked watching the Tony Pulis team. The players were of limited ability but they were like clockwork soldiers and everyone knew exactly what to do in any given situation they were so well drilled. We also suddenly learned the 'dark arts' and if we got a lead the ball was barely in play afterwards .... it had a fascination all of its own.

Until this season, the Argyle manager who produced the most entertaining, attack-minded football during my time as a supporter (since late 1990s) was Derek Adams.

When people describe him as negative or defensive, I feel like I must have spent the 2015/16 and 2017/18 seasons in an alternative universe.

If Ruben Lameiras had known when to pass rather than beat the same player 5 times, cos he could, we would never have been relegated 3 seasons ago.
Totally agree Lameiras skillful player but lacked the basics
