GG - I think that there are not that many factions outside the world of the internet and the war here/there seems to be about clashes between small groups with strong personalities and fuelled by jealousy and the inability to back down.
What everyone seems to forget is that for most fans the only interest is a successful (or at least moderately so) football club - everything else is tosh. Now how you get there.... that's the subject of a really good argument.
