And our next 2 opponents, Blackpool and Bury, in the bottom 4..however feet to remain firmly on the ground...it's an amazing turn around in form with DA probably now able to pick his strongest team every week. Will he still strengthen in January? Like to see Matthews back.

We have Walsall before Bury.

Hopefully the board will back DA and enable him to sign Toums on a longer contract and get another quality striker in to complement Taylor.

I quite like the swingometer at the bottom.

Shows us on a great turn around along with Pompey and the Gills

Blackpool,Charlton and Fleetwood along with Rovers have had a poor run.Shrewsbury dont look too hot either.

You wouldnt want to be playing Blackburn, Wigan, Pompey or us at the moment.

Beware the curse of expectation

Expectation defying would be that we lose to out of form Blackpool, beat a far more in form Walsall and lose to the corpse that is Bury.

'Typical Argo' are TOTALLY capable of achieving this

The form table makes much better reading right now, the information contained on them is not entirely inconsequential. However our historic achilles heel means we can't be guided by it. It is entirely within us to fail against poor sides now just as we seemed to do better against the better sides when we were doing badly.

Forget the playoffs.

But the main thing is that Argyle are properly out of the relegation zone- even if the teams below win their game in hand. This is the first time the club have been in this position for months.

If Adams is given funds to strengthen in January we can be more optimistic of survival followed by a potential push for the playoffs next year. But the squad cannot be under funded as it has been recently. Quality makes all the difference and we can't just rely on the likes of Carey and Taylor. The whole team needs to be elevated to those standards if the club are to thrive in League One and eventually push for promotion. That ball is in Brent and Hallets court.

How is the team underfunded? DA has recently stated that he had money spare from the summer?

You like to keep on repeating your mantra I know, but at least base it on fact not your imagination.

Yep, the minute we become complacent it will all unravel.

Keep playing Songo'o, keep keeping it tight, keep working like dogs for those dogged away clean sheets, the points will come with the hard work not just with confidence. It would be horrible to see Argyle take teams for granted because of poor form, prime example Leyton Orient at home last season. That balls up cost us a title!
