Always a twist and turn in the Championship.

Brentford come off rails at Stoke. Charlton give themselves a chance with very late point v Wigan. Looks like Hull will be added to our fixture list in 20/21 unless other teams point deductions save them.

With 55 minutes gone its looking like Hull and Charlton fixtures next season providing Barnsley can keep their winning margin going for another 30 something minutes.
As for 22nd place who knows? could be Wigan

At full time the table is now telling us we play Hull Charlton and Barnsley next season but with possible points deductions for Derby Sheff Wed and Wigan who knows.

Hard to see how they can overturn the deduction for going into administration, when their administrators have lodged the appeal!

The real story in this division tonight is Swansea.
If someone had said to you before kick off that for Swansea to get a play off place, would need to win (say) 4-1 away and that Forest would have to lose (say) 1-4 at home. you would have course said. No way ! and yet.....funny old game football to use a traditional cliche. But why we all love it.

Of course if Sheffield Wednesday lose points from their disciplinary investigation, they could easily still claim a relegation place. Anything above 8 points would do for them.

If that were to happen then Warnock's team's victory at Hillsborough tonight would have been a decisive result. As s blade he would have enjoyed that.
