If this is true would be great, and because of the connection between reid and phillips could be believable. To those saying that he'd have to take a wage cut, at 37, I don't think money would be important seeing as he's probably been on decent money most of his career. Also, it's a chance for him to gain coaching badges whilst still playing and therefore meaning that when he does decide his playing career is over, then he'll still have a way to be involved in football. Could be a good move for him to come down here. And us obviously, to gain some experience up top and someone who's always been able to score goals wherever he's been.
