I used to live in Taunton Avenue but up the Bodmin Avenue end. Near the bus terminus. Went to Woodfields Infants and Juniors. Bit of a shame things got demolished but I guess they needed to find somewhere to live for us baby boomers! Quite significant though they only provided a secondary modern for the Whitleigh area. I guess they thought the 11plus was beyond us!
Only just caught up with this. What beautiful street lamps. We’re they common throughout Plymouth in the fifties?I've had it for a few years, but used an enhancement and colorised app, and it's come up lovely. Most don't, but some really come out well.

I remember the days has it past above plymouth and you hear the booms as it broke the speed of sound. My step dad at the time told me it was concord was only 13 good times!
