Having additional capacity would be a nice to have rather than a necessity, for all those crying for additional capacity that would be empty on most occasions, who do you suggest we could sell to produce the millions required?
I think that makes excellent sense to fill in one of the corners with a corporate area that will get bigger profits to the club and be able to be paid off quicker. That looks fairly smart. I do seem to remember hearing the Green Taverners can take a 3rd level? Hospitality seems to be sold out most weeks from what I gather so could be a good option in the tunnel corner? Might not be to everyones taste, but from a business point of view it might make sense.
Agree, it could be whatever you want. You're right, but you can use a facility like that for whatever you want.

The question is, would the corner areas at HP be better utilised by adding additional Corporate facilities or to increase the general capacity up to 20,000?
Currently in a financial sense, a no-brainer to add additional corporate facilities over more seating in that corner. As that's an in demand area which is currently at capacity (I think?) AND will pay back the investment quicker.
Just realised @JannerinCardiff has said exactly the same
Yes the pro rata ticket caught my eye too. A great initative I thought. With the current capacity restricted to 16,300 with lost grandstand seats we could say we are currently at 75% so even better.According to the link below our average attendance this season of 12,027 is at 70.1% of our stadium capacity of 17,150 (if that's the true figure), the fifth highest percentage in League One.
Traditionally attendances increase around February time so if the team continues to do well the 'sold out' signs will appear more often and we'll be up to 90+% capacity.
Also I've noticed the club are really pushing and promoting pro-rata season tickets this season, it's something I've never noticed before, it's usually season tickets sold in the summer followed by a half-season ticket at Christmas with Flexi tickets in-between.

I’d add Randell to that list of hot prospects too imoYes the pro rata ticket caught my eye too. A great initative I thought. With the current capacity restricted to 16,300 with lost grandstand seats we could say we are currently at 75% so even better.
I enquired this morning about corporate tickets for Wimbledon on Jan 1st and everything is booked up until February 22nd which is fantastic. I think the Captain's lounge is still being used by the NHS so don't know if that makes a big difference but nevertheless it's all very encouraging.
With Ryan Lowe or was it Neil Dewsnip? raving about the prospects of 3 of our youngsters aged 15, 16 and 17 to add to Cooper and Jephcottt we might yet be able to fund increasing capacity if just one of them brings in a huge transfer fee.
Possibly yes when you consider Houghton wasn't the player he is now when he played for us at the same age as Randell.I’d add Randell to that list of hot prospects too imo
