Driving to Wales on Saturday lunchtime, so will be listening on the radio until we arrive and then I'll be anti-social whilst watching Soccer Saturday on my phone!

I'll be sat at home in Doha watching on Argyle TV.

I've spent the past 3 or 4 months trying to to explain Argyle's plight to sympathetic ears here, but it's difficult when most people you socialise with support Barcelona, Real, PSG or Manchester...

I’ve ended up with an absolute shocker.

I’ve burned through all my passes (with my wife) on away games and getting to all the home games I can from Surrey of late. Stoke and Millwall were my final passes burned.

Anyway; months back we’d booked to go and stay with my mum back in Devon. I sadly have zero chance of leaving my wife and 9 year old with my mum for the day without being served divorce papers so this exile is going to be in bloody Devon and not able to slither off to the game. We’re planning to be in Looe having a family day (I know, how lovely) if we go down I’m going to jump in the harbour with some trawlers anchor strapped to me.

As with many of us, argyle is another commitment we need to manage around other stuff, busy lives etc but it’s going to be appalling, I can’t believe it.

Surely there are special circumstances to be pleaded for this game? Arguably the most important in decades....

Yeah I know mate. My wife is reasonably tolerant of argyle (ish I mean we live in Surrey) but I’ve not seen my mum properly in months so I guess sometimes you’ve just got to suck it up.

I’m filing it under “we live to fight another day” but still really REALLY sucks

Is saying 'sucks' a thing now in the UK? I left 28 years ago, and I remember the first thing someone said was please don't start saying things 'suck' :D

I'll be sat in a field in Stevenage. I've already decided I'm going to watch the Birmingham game because I won't be able to handle the nerves of watching our match as well as wondering what's going on at St Andrew's. At least with just watching Brum you know everything's probably okay as long as they don't score.
And if they score in the first 5 mins?😄😄 I'm having a fiver on Stanfield anytime goalscorer think it's the easiest money I'll make all season unfortunately!
