Always feel a little conflicted about DA, reading this thread though there's a real split of opinion generally speaking.
When he first arrived I was impressed but he made a mess of trying to get us promoted after inheriting a good team from Sheridan.
Then he got us up but like many, it was a flat feeling promotion.
The following season we were awful......then brilliant! Carey and Lamieras as interchanging no.10s was a masterstroke.
Then somehow he gets us relegated whilst having a cracking front 3.
A real roller coaster. They do say the sign of a good manager is to leave the club in better shape than you inherit it. He inherited us in league 2 with Nelse, Hartley, Reid, Brunt, McHugh, Luke, Mellor, etc and left us in league 2 with the likes of Wootton, Canavan, Moore, Joel Grant, etc. So all in all his spell was a failure, taking us backwards in every sense.
That said, forever grateful for seeing Carey in green.
