No matter what figure is released publicly, the club (board) will be very aware week to week of the percentage of season tickets that are actually being used to gain entry to each game, as well as the true numbers of pay on the day, and complimentary attendees. They will also be very aware of the trends in these numbers from the start of the season to now, as well as following a particular result. as fascinating as it may be for us to know these figures, I do not think that they will be made public any time soon, but they will I am sure influence actions taken in the boardroom in the coming weeks.
