Done an interview with Piers Morgan set to air this week over two nights. Some snippets has been shared some being. He said he don’t respect the manager, he feels disrespected, betrayed and people within the club is forcing him out and that the reason why he misses pre season was because he daughter was taken to hospital and the club did not believe him and shown no empathy.

What a way to destroy your reputation. Did well last season and then threw his toys out of the pram because they didn’t get in the Champions league. Fair play to Martyn he called it, that said if they were in the Champions league he wouldn’t be acting like such a *****. He’s been an embarrassment this season.

Not exactly selling himself as a person to any potential final employers. Obviously his footballing reputation alongside fan interest will be attractive, but would any serious manager want to unsettle his changing room ?

Its been clear that Ronaldo has been trying to manoeuvre a way out of Old Trafford since pre-season, but this interview - from the snippets - won't do anything bar speed up his retirement from football. Unless he's willing to take a big paycut (he won't - he still thinks he's one of the best players in Europe at the age of 37) he's got very few clubs available to him which meets his ambitions of playing at least another season in the Champions League, and they'll baulk at signing him, especially with this attitude. And those clubs which could see past all of that would probably be reluctant to play him as he isn't blessed with pace anymore and he doesn't have the work-ethic of (say) Ryan Giggs when he was playing in his late 30s.

Still, there's still one rich basket-case of a club which would probably still sign him - PSG.
