CF: We were in total control of the game and still ended up losing it. #pafc

That quote really tells us everything that we need to know.

Aldershot (first game), Cheltenham, Burton, Port Vale. We played well enough to win, but lost them all.

12 points there alone.

It's not working.

Had total control of the game for 70 minutes, one up and not looking in the slightest danger but failed to get the all important second goal and two goalkeeping errors knocked the stuffing out of us and cost us the game. Good all round team performance with Lowry, until he tired, and Cowan Hall particularly impressive. Young did well but frustrated at times with his decision making and towards the end, after they scored, the back four got too deep and a little bit disorganised. Very frustrating but we have to focus on maintaining that level of performance, preferably for the whole 90 minutes, and the results will come. With the addition of a bit more quality in the squad we could be a serious force in this league next year.

NO MORE SPIN or GREEN TINTED SPECS!

We're just not good enough at the back, lack real options up front.
It's an effin shambles

Totally agree with that Esmer though I am struggling with the final sentence big time - they would have to be top top quality signings for that to happen. Think those signings need to be made January at the latest not in the summer.

In the summer there will be a number of players out of contract. If we focus on keeping our better players Blanchard, Bhasera, Hourihaine, Lowry etc and replace others with players of higher quality, better equipped to play the style of passing football to which Fletcher is admirably committed we could be very successful.

A few fans have said that ''CF would have wanted a reaction after Dorchester''
I would hope that the players would not need to be told ''react'' - they should have been so ashamed after Dorchester that THEY wanted a reaction from themselves. Sadly - nope!!!!

Time gentlemen - time please.

The players seemed somewhat short of motivation as we hardly threw men forward in search of an equaliser. In seasons gone by I remember the kitchen sink being thrown toward the Devenport End if we needed a goal.
Maybe we can read something into the fact that only Bas, Andres, Maxime and one other who I can't remember came over at the end to applaud the fans who paid to watch that.

I didn't think either side controlled the game. It was too congested and nobody seemed to know how to create space. The one time Feeney did so for himself, it led to the goal.

Berry needs to over-lap PCH more. Not only would that give Cowan-Hall an alternative option down the line, it would draw a defender wider which would also give more space in the area for the likes of Madjo.

Argyle need to work on their transition. Having two banks of four is good when they haven't got possession but when they do get the ball back they need to have more fluidity.

so after the dorchester match, we were ready and up for the game, ( or we could not fight are way out of a paper bag!!)
going in hard, showing the green army I WANT TO PLAY FOR THE FANS AND THE CLUB!!
then i woke up, did we lose to a team that had 2/3 shots?
can we afford to sack CF? and staff, who would want such a job?
CF has made some good signings, if we look like going down YES offer support and help to CF or replace him.
but give him more time!!
im off to run to the valleys lol
