Amazing how many people got on his case last season because his name isn’t Adam Randell. Super player.
I actually think it was a tribute to how Houghton played for the majority of the season that people weren't on his case until late in the season. There was much expectation that Randell would play much more than he did, but Houghton kept them quiet for a long time. By the last 10 games, however, both the system and Houghton were struggling and Randell probably should have had a few games.
I was pleased to see the Randell/Houghton partnership on Sat, as I've long advocated that they can work together on occasions. For some reason a lot of people have only been able to see either/or of the pair being selected.
