How have we managed NOT to replace Cossie and Ennis in two windows? Still mystifies me.
Just to have an option off the bench. Hull have recruited 38 yo Billy Sharp, I see Ellis Harrison is still playing for MK Dons off the bench, we just need a bit of experience who can come on for 20 mins to give hardie a break and trouble the defenders. If we’d have had a Barry Hayles type option this season we’d have been safe weeks ago

Because every other Championship side are having the same problem. They're like gold dust apparently. I was hoping we'd bring in Ennis from Blackburn, as it wasn't working out. Maybe we tried, who knows.

i suspect Foster will be blamed for everything which will be very convenient to those at the club who never seem to take any responsibility.

success has many parents but failure is an orphan.
schuey must have most of the blame,he left us in the lurch and "stole" most of the staff, foster was a huge mistake,i feel foster must have lied at the interview.feel very despondent now.

Chin up Steve, whatever happens (and I fead the worse) we will still support PAFC mate. (y)

It will be very interesting to see if the new found supporters have the same staying power though.
This.

We did it last year, we can do it again. The crowds will stay if we're successful next season in L1 and if they disappear then the thousands of hardcore faithful will still be there as we've always been.

We simply have to play 3 in midfield. We are getting overrun and so easy to play through.

Would be more understandable if later in game when tired but after 8 minutes FFS.
How about Edwards in midfield?
For 2 games I would agree with this. Putting Edwards in with Houghton and Randell would make sense. Then their job is simple, block, work hard, tackle and screen the back 3. Let the wing backs get forward to support Morgan and Hardie.

Could do with Butcher now. Another great decision

In January. We could not have done more in January to screw up our chances.
Foster made some very strange decisions but trying to reshape the squad in January to the degree he did (and was allowed too) is right up there as one of the worst. Wright scar Edwards butcher et all might not be good enough going forward long term but killing what we had in collectiveness and spirit without quality was poor management to say the least.

I agree. This data analysis is all well and good but are we seeking perfection when a player has 80% of what we need? Seems to me the targets identified are completely unrealistic in terms of cost and availability.
Yeah but what does 80% acheive? How much was Ennis when he moved to Stoke? And who could/should we have signed? I mean, did we just not look hard enough? I don't know the answer to that.
