I just asked the question, as I was unsure whether the poster was actually joking and I was being whooshed.
You will have your place in the queue. Just accept where you are instead of trying jump ahead of the few who might be ahead of you .So now you are calling people selfish and full of self mindedness........thank you very much!!!!!
I have had a season ticket for the most of my supporting life and although I have moved away I have continued to buy a season ticket even now to support Argyle both at matches and via Argyle TV again both home and away.
I along with the majority of season ticket holders did not ask for a refund, bought a season ticket even though it would be cheaper to just buy a match by match, every match I can't attend I buy Argyle TV match ticket, BLG member along with this over £200 in fuel to watch a home game. Last season I probably travelled over 10,000 miles watching Argyle I'm not saying I am a superior supporter than any other but to imply that I am selfish and full of self mindedness is totally disrespectful to myself and fellow supporters who only want to watch and support Argyle.
But I am in the queue, and bought my season ticket knowing that I had the same chance of a match ticket as any other season ticket holder, now I would have dropped way down the list as just maybe I can't make matches until November as I would have missed the opportunity to watch 9 away matchesYou will have your place in the queue. Just accept where you are instead of trying jump ahead of the few who might be ahead of you .
Yeah . It has happened for years with the England Cap system. Do i like that i will be forced to do something that would cost other fans the chance to see Argyle no. But this is the clubs choice and i am forced now to do this so i can go see the games i want to . Instead of the old system which to be honest was fair. Season ticket holders put money into the club weather the team is good or bad . What happens next season if Argyle get relegated which is just as likely to happen as going up. I gave up money owed to me by the club in the CVA. I gave up money to the club during Covid. I buy the shirts and more from the shop i buy food and drink. I put alot of money into the club .Are you for real?
Couple of questions on BGL membership and linking this to ticketing.
- If you have BGL membership, should it show up when you log into Argyle's online ticketing system? (Mine says I have no memberships at present)
- If it should be showing (and clearly isn't), who is the best person to get in touch with to sort this out? The website suggests a lady called Ellen Shine who I emailed a while back but had no response.
Thanks muchly!

With the England tickets though they have to be used. Barcode read into the ground etc and for away games collected by the club member in person with a check against photo ID.Yeah . I dont like this new system but sadly for my enjoyment i will have to do what i have stated
Yes but you haven't addressed the point that's been made that season ticket holder's purchased their tickets prior to you announcing the change in conditions. You've changed the goalposts. If you had explained before the point of sale that a new system was coming into place than that would be different. I think you're on a bit of a sticky wicket now imho.As we have outlined throughout, the scheme is in infancy, and is designed to strike the best balance based on the feedback provided by supporters.
Of course, some valid concerns are raise above, while a few perhaps require further clarification.
Although we appreciate it was not clear in yesterday's communication, supporters will only be eligible to purchase during the first priority 'points window' if they hold a 22/23 season ticket. It will not be possible for a non-season ticket holding supporter to overtake one with a season ticket.
We consider it vital to preserve the priority status associated with a season ticket - however, we also believe that supporters who have attended the vast majority of away fixtures on top of their season ticket should have that commitment acknowledged in some way.
Offering a proportion (not all) of our allocation to these supporters is a halfway house between a full points system (which many supporters were not happy with as it creates a 'closed shop') and the previous system - which can see these supporters miss out on high-profile fixtures.
By ensuring that you have to hold a season-ticket to be eligible for the first points window, we have honoured the terms signed up to by supporters when they purchased their ST. There is no way a non-season-ticket holding supporter can access ticketing for fixtures before a season-ticket holding supporter. However, we would also point out that the terms and conditions of a season-ticket purchase simply state 'priority.' In no way do these tweaks contradict the terms of sale.
Of course, we understand that this will be an emotive subject, and we know from our consultation that not everyone will agree. However, we feel that this system provides the fairest balance while also offering some reward to our most consistent attending supporters.
Non season ticket holders collecting points will benefit ahead of general sale tickets, should tickets remain available at that point. However, it's worth pointing out that we only tend to implement points priority for fixtures we know are likely to sell out early.
We are implementing a trial to see how it goes, and to iron out any unforeseen kinks in the process. Supporters will be invited to share their views with us again as the situation unfolds.
As pointed out above, the Forest Green fixture will likely be the first fixture where points will be required, and we'll provide details in due course.
However, an example of how this could work for FGR is as follows but still TBC.
1a. Season Ticket Holders with 250 loyalty points or more (An allocation)
1b. Season Ticket Holders - No Loyalty Points Required
2. Flexi Ticket Holders & BGL Members
3. Non Season Ticket Holders with 25 loyalty points or more (Not likely here, but an example of how it could be used ahead of going to general sale)
4. General Sale
