It is only simple if the contract is what Pan wants. He is still under contract for a year and perhaps he thinks he could get a better deal with us if we are in Championship next season or an improved offer if he starts next season in great form. Not signing the current offer does not necessarily mean he wants to leave.
What isn't included in the above is the two screenshots Pan posted along with his message, showing a load of comments in Portuguese.
It isn't clear if his message is aimed at those or the comments made by Argyle fans.
Bearing in mind that English is not Camara’s first language I think that by ‘I’m selling to another club’ he means ‘I’m being sold to another club’ or similar. People with limited knowledge of a language often know the correct verb but don’t know how to create the correct tense. For example, I know that ‘habiter’ is the French equivalent of the verb to live so I could say ’J’habite en Plymouth’ but I couldn’t correctly say ‘I lived in Plymouth’ or ‘I will live in Plymouth’.
Argyle have now re-iterated that Pans contract is still on the table and Argyle would love him to sign - I personally really want Pan to stay... we know he reads the comments on twitter so lets put some positive comments his twitter page that show our appreciation of him and maybe he'll put pen to paper and sign a new deal for Argyle...

Eh? I would have thought that all anyone could have gotten from his message is exactly what you surmised at the very beginning i.e. that he was upset that a link had been established between him posting the video as a way of putting him in the shop window. He even qualifies his statement by saying that its something he always does at the end of a season.
You dont even have to take into account the fact that English isn't his first language to determine what he means.
You have just completely made up the last bit about not wanting to be sold😵
As someone else has posted, if he doesn't want to leave then sign the Contract thats on the table. Any new Contract will be considerably better than his current one so whats the problem.
Personally, I believe he does want to leave and his agent is busy out there touting him to someone. While the Contract is unsigned he's a much cheaper proposition. The thing is, I don't think there are any takers and so he will eventually sign it and then come out with some guff that suggests he had every intention of doing so.

And to add, knowing that offer is on the table almost gives him the luxury of looking around.
Would the club not be better off making that offer with a cut off period of which the terms wouldn’t be as good if renegotiated?
I know if I was looking around, having my current employer dangling with a back up option would ease my mind and give me the time and luxury of finding something else.

If he had a desire to stay surely it wouldn’t of got to a position where the club felt the need to transfer list him.
Contract is the same as there was weeks ago. Nothings changed.
The guy, l believe loved playing for us. I think he is disappointed by the reaction of him leaving. I think he probably hoped to leave on good terms with the fans. But that’s not how football fans work.
Whatever happens, l will always appreciate Camara and be thankful for the way he played. So he still has one fan in an Argyle shirt who adores him and l reckon there are more like me.
I wish him all the best. He moves on though. So do we.

People are assuming he's not signing based on his own opinion, and not based on the opinion from the professionals around him paid to advise him on the best course of action.

I stand corrected because I don’t use Twitter. I though he was referring to the YouTube video
So Pan posted a video at the end of last season as well, I don't remember that meaning he wanted to leave. Unless of course his annual video means he wants to move at the end of every season.
I didn't make the last bit up, that was how I read it. I might be wrong, but that was my interpretation.
Having read the more recent comments on twitter its a pretty clear consensus from the Green Army that people want Pan to stay and sign a new contract. I think there literally was 1 negative comment but then there was a backlash to that comment saying that Pan was loved and to basically ignore the one brainless idiot who posted that single negative comment.
