I have no problem with Mayor, yes theres elements of his game that need improving but it was Lowe that lumped too much pressure on him with that well known quote.

Anyway, Mayor actually signed for PNE when he was 9 and came through their academy. I'm pretty sure he's a Preston fan too.

Whilst there is some risk of talent going from Argyle to PNE, there may be the opportunity for talent to go the other way - especially on loan.

I saw on the PNE blog that the team had more than a full complement of strikers so perhaps some will be looking for some game time elsewhere and prove themselves at a slightly lower level.

You have an obsession to attack major.. he’s the player most managers talk about before and after games. He gets marked out of games as they see the influence he has on the game. You also seem to not see that most people agree that broom fits our team better. We have two very good options and two players that could make the step up to lower level championship side. Can’t see major going to due to age. I think broom and pan are def possibilities, Cooper of course as is being watched by many teams from leagues above us. Ennis I feel even tho is a talented player, needs to get fit and have a good season settled before thinking about moving higher up as he hasn’t really set the world alight any where just yet.

Gutted Lowe has gone...,but the only hope I have now is that he comes back for Mayor.....hugely overrated and more of a hindrance to the team.....take him now.

Good grief there are some miserable people on this thread and other threads on this website. One door closes and another opens - Lowe has gone - with thanks for leaving Argyle in a better position - lets get behind the new manager and look forward with hope to a successful season.
I do not think that PNE are a superior club in any way, I think that Lowe moved only for family reasons.
Please stop attacking our own players - criticism is fine but needs to be constructive .

The fact the players haven't come out on social media to wish him well is rather telling but what is to say the club has told the players not to say anything

I am living for the here & now- January is weeks away & we all know football changes on a minute by minute basis

What's to say some players leave but Preston will not be the destination

Cooper could yes but not sure goalkeeper is Preston's main need when they have a Danish U21 keeper with 16 caps who is 2 years older than Cooper.

Cooper and Grant I agree. Camara lacks that final third composure I think.
Ennis could also be a target.
