Lord of the Rings - Return of the King
Where Eagles Dare
The Imitation Game
All The President’s Men
The Bank Job

(although, ask again in a few weeks, and some of the above would change - I think it’s a mood thing)
To sort of prove my own point, I shouldn’t have omitted Kelly’s Heroes. It’s my go-to film when I’m stressed, and I must have seen it at least twenty times.

The revised top five, in no particular order, is:-

Kelly’s Heroes
Lord of the Rings - Return of the King
Where Eagles Dare
All The President’s Men
The Bank Job

I've lost count the number of times I've watched Kelly's Heroes including being taken to see it by my late Dad in the cinema when it first came out. Always enjoyed it particularly Oddball's late 60's persona transposed to second world war France :)

Forgive me, I couldn't resist adding another 5

Walkabout
The Railway Children
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Dark Star
Southern Comfort

Dark Star is brilliantly funny - I've got that on DVD somewhere...

Also Southern Comfort - I very nearly added that to my list (if at all possible). Another film with a great soundtrack by Ry Cooder (that really should have been released as an album).
