Rode our luck in the 1st half, smash & grab early doors 2nd half & our game management was superb

We are a totally different animal compared to last season & i am not getting carried away but we have the mentality to grind out results & stick to the task

This team is something special :D

Garrick had a much improved 2nd half. That back 3 looks solid. Galloway classy and Wilson and Scarr proper bullies at the back.

Garrick played his way into the game after a scary start, he is not a RWB, Because of injury to Edwards and Major Lowe does not have a choice although I would prefer to see him playing as an attacker. Mayor would struggle to start at the moment unless Lowe dropped Edwards and played Broom in this position which is unlikely. Great performance which makes the game on Tuesday exciting especially as Portsmouth are struggling. Wilson, Scarr and Galloway are doing a great job and with Gillespie pushing them we know have some solid defenders.

The last two games have shown that we can adapt & win in different ways. We can welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Home Park, get at them & pretty much blow them away, flip the coin & we can go to Wimbledon (the league's top scorers) and grind out a 1 nil.

Question is whether Galloway will play two away games on the trot. He has been rotating with Gillesphy previously plus we have Doncaster then Crewe on the Tuesday night so games coming thick and fast.

Four clean sheets in seven league games, only one goal conceded during the second half of the seven games which was a huge problem last season, only four goals conceded (two of them in one game or half) which is the joint best record in League One and in the EFL only Tranmere have conceded less goals.

What a turnaround in defence! 👍

He does Randell or broom and bring back mayor or move grant and bring law in
