... and slow.

The defence was the main reason for relegation last season.

Ryan Lowe has wiped the slate clean it’s about time everyone else did too. Stop looking backwards and start looking forwards. They were poor in the new system against Torquay but given a chance who knows when they “bed in” they may be fine. :scarf:

That's Wimbledon's sixth defeat out of six friendlies this summer. Playing stronger opposition is all very well but I would imagine their confidence levels are wobbling a bit.

Good win for Argyle but more importantly a good performance (according to the commentary).

Love this.
I was just about to post a link to the photo myself. Nice touch Argyle.

With Wooton and Canavan as centre backs Wimbledon must fancy their chances of scoring.

How's that working out for you?

It's a new three centre-back system so it might well suit Wootton, Canavan and Sawyer with Aimson to come in.

A good win but once again it's all about fitness and learning the new system. I still feel we are one pre-season game short against decent opposition.

I notice there's no journo from the Herald/Plymouth Live again missing from the pre-season camp. It's probably not cost effective.

Can’t believe we’ve won that. Beating a team who had already faced Kaiserslautern in pre-season. Unheard of.

Fitness and shape is foremost. Everything else is secondary including the scoreline.

Yep, same goes for winning as for losing. Was pleasing to keep a clean sheet though and restrict Wimbledon to just a few chances.

Some have said he plays 3-5-2 but it looks more 3-1-4-2 with a holding CM pulling strings when in possession and providing cover for the CB’s when we don’t have the ball.

Forget the result how is the team looking? That awful line up in defense worries me but credit it was a clean sheet.

Was this looking more like a team performance in a new structure working towards the strongest 11 starting in 2 X weeks if fit?
