Interesting that so many see other teams pre season as proper...

Wonder if those people can also tell us if ...
Bournemouth, Bristol City, Brentford, Kaiserslautern and Kickers Offenbach. All played their strongest 11 for the entire match or was it a mixture of youth, trialists and senior pros getting match fitness

Really some are just obsessed with other teams and their glory or lack of it

Let's focus on argyle, the pre season schedule was pretty much sorted before RL got here - he has managed to tweek a few things and I expect today's match to be about fitness & shape rather above all else it's a marathon not a sprint noting is won in July ....

Wow, not sure many of us expected current scoreline.

As Postey said about strongest team we can field at moment- although Sarce may disagree. :D

Spot on TonyD. Playing Truro and Torquay with new players and a new system seems to me the only choice if the purpose is to improve fitness and for RL to judge what he’s got. Stage two, playing teams like Dons and Rovers to sharpen the first team seems also dead right, against teams who on paper should be marginally better than us.

Very encouraging first 45. The first 20 to 25 minutes saw Wimbledon slightly in the ascendancy but Argyle who have been working on their shape when not in possession limited them to just the one smart stop from Cooper who did all he hadto do confidently first half. Joe Edwards who was always available for the ball kept Argyle ticking over with Mayor showing glimpses of his undoubted talent. Lolos looked promising up fronts he started go see more of the ball. 30 minutes in and Mayor cut inside to find the top corner from 30 yards out with a superb windxaszisted strike. Argyle then suddenly found more space and an assured 10 minutes followed with the Greens in the ascendancy which culminated in Mayor slipping aJoel Grant through to side foot comfortably past the keeper. More of the same second half please.
