There is a chance that this game will take place in front of NO SPECTATORS as there is a dispute between the Gills and Kent Police over police manning levels.

The local Council have said if it is not resolved then an empty stadium will be the outcome.

There's a bit of history between the Gills and Swindon, so with the expected high turnout of travelling STFC fans, it's a crowd safety issue. If they can't watch Swindon, then maybe Home Park is an alternative to watch their favourite neighbours next weekend.

The police "have received intelligence" which requires them to increase their normal manning levels.

Interesting a lot of Swindon fans don't think we will sell out 1200 or anywhere near. :problem:

We sold out 1200 for a midweek game last year

I like the bit on their thread where they accuse argyle fans of being arrogant. Apparently some of us were critical of their 8600 attendance on Monday and they have pointed out that it is better than our average for the season. Well so it should be, seeing as Argyle have been in the bottom 3 all season until recently and Swindon have been chasing promotion! I'd like to see what the situation would have been, in terms of attendances, had the positions been reversed. Certainly Swindon wouldnt have brought 1,400 to Home Park!! Oops, Im being an arrogant Argyle fan now...!
