I've seen MD at close quarters over the last couple of months. His professionalism is unquestionable.

I listened to him on the Argyle Chat Herald podcast. He said, unprompted, that some members of staff were not up to standard. I don't know who he was talking about but discussing that sort of issue openly was a little odd. We'll see about his professionalism.

Simon Hallett (chairman) - 65.1% of shares
James Brent - Akkeron Leisure - 23.1% and Five Directions - 8%
Tony Wrathall - 2.1%
Richard Holliday (Rowanmoor) - 1.7%

Jo Cubbon
John Morgan
Michael Dunford

This is good.

Hallett needs to be chairman right now. It's his club - on the field we are in a mess and he needs to ensure we get out of it - weather that's sticking with Adams or not. His choice.

As he's a fan - sure he'll do what he thinks is best. Hopefully what ever that is works.

Interesting statement- I would worry if he thought this is "his club" even if he is the major shareholder. Surely the modern way and the way JB has set us up, is to run in a colloborative, cabinet approval kind of manner. The last thing we need is another dictator of the MacCauley variety.

I think that's unfair. No-one can accuse SH of NOT doing that.

I wasn’t at all just Merely pointing out that for all MacCauleys faults he did invest into the playing side.

Doesn't appear to be doing Liverpool too much harm.

The world has moved on from weekly board meetings where everyone has to be physically in the same room. We have weekly conference calls with UK and US consultants in the same meetings on opposite sides of the Atlantic, absolutely no problem at all. Unless Plymouth is different?

I know it may be controversial and not everyone’s cup of tea but for me Tony Wrathall has to be the choice for day to day running if we can’t have a fan run co-operative. An absolute gentleman who bleeds green, with a ruthless business streak.

Call me a Synical or realist, whatever but the truth as in any company board room, the customers, or fans in the instance are on a need to know basis, your never no.for certain so all you can do is speculate and hope for the best outcome.
