I spent two years on Fearless and many trips on the LSLs and both Commando Carriers and almost everyone onboard agreed that when rounding Rame Head and coming into the Western entrance was one of the best sights anywhere in the world from seaward. we are blessed.

It was a total eyesore when it was built!

Oh, but it was cutting edge design when it was built! (it was still ugly, but----!) The best bit about it was the restaurant which was on the top deck; fantastic views over the city and the sound.
