At today’s press meeting, when talking about players, Lowe said a couple of players have decided to move on, so I’m guessing that is McFadzean or Cleal.

Fadz on the move then ?...no great surprise I guess

So why didn’t he say who if they’ve already decided?

Well (just guessing here) maybe he doesn't want to close the door on the players staying at Home Park?

Would a deal for Cooper be affected by letting it slip Fadz is leaving, the price might become a little higher knowing that?

Pretty clear that McFadzean wants to leave- its just a question of whether another club will offer him a deal given all the uncertainty. So if he does accept Argyle’s contract offer it will only be because he had few other options. I don’t blame him though- if he prefers living up north then he has to do the right thing for himself.

McFadzean wouldn't risk burning his bridges if he didn't have a decent offer lined up. Which means he probably does have a club or two after him. He wouldn't risk walking out on a contract offer, the way things are, if his agent's phone was quiet.

The deals which happen in June and July are usually lined up in March. It was no secret Sarcevic was off to Salford for example and that was before he had even had a look at his contract offer.

Surely Fadz has now had plenty of time to decide whether or not to sign. It is also unfair on the other players who were given deadlines to treat others differently.

He's touting himself around I reckon. As I would if I were in his position.

Also if Fadz is in two minds now will he give 100% if he signs for us as a fall back position?

As he is out of contract he was entitled to talk to other Clubs from the 1st January, even signing a pre contract.

If he'd done that, he would have been announced by now I reckon.

But only with foreign clubs.

Yep if I was Ryan Lowe I'd withdraw the offer. If a player doesn't want to be here look for somebody who does.

Yes i would agree as whilst I appreciate his 'family reasons' we need fully committed players.Presumably as his contract expired 30th June he is no longer an Argyle player

Agreed Steve.

Didn't Ryan Lowe give the players 7 days to give him their decision? Surely that has now passed big time?

And he extended it to end of the month for Fadz because his missus just gave birth
