I thought that today was a big chance for Callum Wright to put down a marker and say “I can be Finn Azaz”, particularly against L2 opposition, but unfortunately he was poor, he was weak, ineffective and sloppy. We need a new signing, or alternatively we need to move Whittaker inside and use Bundu out wide.

Sure, but for me Wright was our poorest player. Today was a big opportunity for him, he didn’t take it.

In terms of body language I'd put him in the Chris Waddle category - not disinterested, but just had the ability to look totally knackered by the time the warm up finished. That's not a criticism, just the way he's made.

I feel a bit sorry for Wright. Was brought in to play in a position that he did in my opinion very well last year. This season he’s been asked to play on the wing and in a slightly deeper role and looks so devoid of confidence. Square peg in round hole unfortunately for him and us

I agree Callum Wright was poor today but he hasn't been used much this season to get into form due to better options being available (Azaz and Cundle). We need him to get better though and today should have been that day against Div 2 opposition. Also, where was Tyreik today?
