Of course there'll be a big gate on Boxing Day, and on Sat 29th there'll be 3000 - 4000 fewer and on Sat 12 Jan another 2000 down.

There are only 2 ways Argyle's gates will get better this season. We have a total change in results and we start to push for a play off. Or we continue as we are and by March we'll get a few more as the tension mounts, but no where newt the 8/9000 last season.

To be in a shout of the play offs we need to finish on about 70 points; that's 48 points from 24 games, or 2 wins out of every 3, which is top of the table form.

A year into the new era, in the shadow of financial failure, it is broadly the same collection of barely-pro footballers, novice management and naive chairmanship. Promotion or relegation threatening with this set up, I think the city's aware enough that unless something drastically changes to one element or more to create some hope afresh, the 8000 mark will not be breached outside of derbies regardless of statistics like results or table points.

But everyone would need a look at a new stadium. The once. Sound foundation that.

Well, we'll see on Boxing Day if we deserve better.

Even in bad times the Boxing Day gates have been swollen by people looking for something to do after the main event. With it being a derby as well!

Unbelievable. Our support has been magnificent considering the dire crap we have been served up time and time again. the fans have done enough already to deserve a decent team. We deserve better. Our fans our brilliant.

The club does not deserve the loyalty it currently has really. There our a lot of problems at the club, the fans are NOT one of them.

For all you like to pretend otherwise Gary and for all that entertainment matters to you, not everyone agrees. If our "result statistics" and "table points" were the best in the league, we'd have 8,000 and above crowds regularly. It's not regardless at all.

We have the third highest average gate behind Bradford and Rotherham (look where they are in the league) yet some posters see fit to rubbish the lack of supporters. Interestingly, four teams average less than 2,000. Three of them, Accrington, Morecombe and Dagenham are above us in the league.Which suggests that the problem is on the pitch.

.... And we have a better average home attendance than 16 teams in League One.
At the ten game mark our attendances this season are slightly up compared to last season.

The fans views never have and never will matter, not in anything important anyway and that applies to most clubs, not just Argyle.

Instead, we are patronised by Brent who tells us he wants to "... improve the match day experience... " as if he is trying to sell us a hotel break but all we really want is for Argyle to actually win a few games.

No 'real' football person would use such a phrase.

With his lack of understanding of football fans and football in general, Brent is turning in to a lower-league Rupert Lowe.

Anyone for Rugger or Hockey?

Shouldn't that be.....anyone for tennis ?
