I wonder if this is a fitness based decision after Saturday’s Qatar like temperatures?

Lots of people were surprised by Houghton’s selection on Saturday but the team performance turned out well.

Shuey seems to know what he’s doing, which is good because he gets paid to make the decisions. Supporters should just support and leave team management to a manager who almost definitely knows more than us. Fingers crossed.

We have a squad Schuey is choosing to use it - it is a long hard season & Schuey is probably briefed by the medical team regarding each player after each game

We need to manage the players right so that we do not over work the players- Schuey will want a high number of player availability so squad rotation will tick all the boxes

He has brought in players he feels are capable of doing a job & therefore that is shown in Schuey's team selection

I assume you didn’t see him play on Saturday then? If you missed it watch him setup Finn with a sublime bit of skill. I am guessing he has a bit of a niggle and that’s why he’s on the bench
