Quickest is the overground, 7 minutes from Greenwich Station or 5 from Maze Hill.

25 minutes on the bus from Greenwich town centre.

15mins Max, AH obviously lives life in the slow lane.

I was factoring in walking, and rest stops

Great pub, I'm looking down in to the beer garden at this very moment. It's about 30 seconds from the market, which has excellent food, and there's also a food festival thing going on around the Cutty Sark today.

The Old Brewery by the Cutty Sark is open. Bit expensive as the original poster stated). £5.80 for a 330ml bottle of beer.

Canary wharf is one stop on jubilee line before north greenwich (o2 arena). Where you get the bus down to charlton.Bars right outside tube station on the right.
