If I was any good at maths/could be arsed, I'd work out the likelihood of both me and Ian not winning anything over a combined period of 10 years, with a relatively small pool of members (under 2,000?).

If I was any good at maths/could be arsed, I'd work out the likelihood of both me and Ian not winning anything over a combined period of 10 years, with a relatively small pool of members (under 2,000?).

Back in January this year there were 800 members, I don't know what it is now because as ever with the BGL everything is a mystery.

I reported my 'win' of last week, as I've not been a member for the last 9 months.

I shredded the cheque.

It seems to be indicative of a badly run system though.

I'm hoping the club will take it in house, then I'll join again.

Is this weeks draw the final one? I got a letter last week saying it was closing and the last draw would be the end of october with a final `special draw` in November. It will be interesting to see what the club come up with. I have been playing for a few years, one the odd tenner but was surprised last week when I won £50
