Our 1st home game vs Blackburn since May 1992

David Speedie Hat-trick past Peter Shilton got us relegated

Tommy Tynan scored all 4 goals vs Blackburn on the late 80s as we won 4-3

I would go for the second game GA. I remember them both very well. The speedy hat trick in the 90s after we went one up which put us down was awful. Saying that Blackburn were superb that day

Remember we played Blackburn when both teams were 1st and 2nd in League and we had over 25,000 for the midweek game, great atmosphere. Though I think we lost 5- 2 but played them up there not long after and we won 2 -1 .

Hopefully over 12,00 and an Argyle win, best of 5 goals :)

The 2-1 win was at home on 4th February 1975 so just a day short of 43 years. Checked the crowd it was a 28,744. What a night that was. We did lose 5-2 away a few weeks after.

Argyle need to keep a close eye on their midfielder Bradley Dack. I recall him playing for Gillingham in a League Cup match at Home Park and he dominated proceedings in the middle of the park going forward.

Glass half empty here. 0-2 win for Blackburn (they're not second for nothing). Mainly down to yet more dodgy refereeing decisions. Moral victory for us and impressive debut by Moses gives us hope for the remainder of the season.

Draw or defeat for me im afraid. Wigan showed that they didnt have to be the best team and still win. Sign of a good team (like us last season).I think this game will be similar

I said 3 weeks ago I would be happy with 4 points from Wigan, Oldham, today and Shrewsbury

Surprised no one has mentioned the 4-1 home win of the 80’s. From memory, Argyle needed to win to stay up, a defeat would leave them sweating on other results. If memory again serves correctly, we went in at half time 4-0 up and went on to win 4-1. Id take some of that today.

April 91 I think without the use of Google!
There goal was very late on and was it not scored by an ex Man Utd player? I keep thinking Frank Stapleton but I'm not sure he even played for Blackburn!
GOOGLE??? Wash your mouth out. ;)
