He would also be working day in and day out with better goalkeeper coaches as well as training alongside that clubs existing goalkeepers who will all be of a similar or higher ability - all of this would help make Cooper a quality keeper. May mean he may not play first team football for a while but when he does he will be much improved. Then at that stage a loan maybe on - or a first team spot at his parent club.How about a PL club signs him, and keep with us on loan for a season? That way he is guaranteed to keep developing, we get a few bob and the parent club will benefit in the long term
