Yes and No.

There are a couple of adages that over my very many years on the planet have proven to be true, those being; 'You pay for quality' and 'You pay peanuts, you get monkeys'.

I guess time will tell on Hughes.

The fact that a very inexperienced Manager is saying that he feels Hughes is ready is also a concern to me.
Do pasoti pay you anything for your knowledge EyeOpener ?

All I do is strip things right back and keep it real. I don't get wrapped up in the hype or blindly follow and believe what comes out of peoples' mouths especially when those mouths have a vested interest in promoting their own business/interests.

Hughes has just finished his playing career, has absolutely no management experience, has limited coaching experience, is still studying towards his A licence which he isn't even due to complete until next season and yet he is deemed ready to be our Assistant Manager according to our own inexperienced Manager.

Talk about taking a punt.

I hope it all turns out fantastically for Hughes, Schuey and ultimately Argyle but I cant help but have my reservations.

I'll be keeping everything crossed right up until the end of December.

So what sort of peanuts then ? salted ? dry roasted ? Or is your knowledge not even worth that ?
Also from what I read on your posts , what you actually do is jump to conclusions , without any knowledge and then post it .
Most reasonable adults will wait to see how something works out .

It’s called voicing an opinion.

As far as posting goes; you’ve just demonstrated what complete rubbish you share. Only you will know what the hell you’re talking about with your little piece on nuts…nuts indeed.

Just stripping things back and keeping it real , my many years on this planet have taught me that something that looks like bulls**t and smells like bulls**t is nearly always bulls**t and reading your very opinionated opinion which clearly lacks any knowledge of the situation you are offering this opinionated opinion on , definitely has all the signs of bulls**t . Does that make it any clearer ?

So making a statement that Hughes has very little management experience and is still to complete his coaching badges is opinionated opinion that lacks any knowledge?

I don’t think there is any need to be abusive or to overreact, his opinion is that our management team suddenly seems a bit lightweight and inexperienced, and I can certainly see where he is coming from.

The hierarchy within the club have made the decision- they are more qualified than most to know whether this appointment benefits Schuey & the team

We have no idea how this decision will pan out over next season but Schuey trusts the people he has around him- so we will just have to trust his judgement with regard to who he wanted as his assistant manager

Playing career in the lower divisions. Just finished his playing career, had no coaching experience and still studying for his A Licence, supported by an similarly inexperienced assistant manager - I give you Ryan Lowe. Two promotions in his first two full seasons.

We paid more in transfer fees for George Cooper than we did for the entire rest of the squad put together.

"Pay for quality"...
