Putting Lapado and Carey in the same bracket for Argyle?

Nahh mate.
They were mentioned in my post because they have both been mentioned in previous posts about who we might go for.
Just pointing out that both were relegated with Argyle. Ladapo to be fair scored a number of goals that season. Carey I remember missed a crucial penalty at home to Charlton

May have some legs. I suspect Callum Wright will be known to Neil Dewsnip. He was at Everton, came up through the Liverpool schoolboy system and went to the school Neil used to teach at (though clearly not at the same time!). Played against us home and away last season.

Plymouth Argyle have been linked with a move for Leicester City youngster Callum Wright, who has had such a fine season with League One rivals Cheltenham Town, according to reports. The 22-year-old is out of contract with the Premier League club this summer and it remains to be seen if he will be offered fresh terms to remain with the Foxes.

I can only find that story on Plymouth Live (it wasn’t written by Chris Errington) with no mention of the source.

There were several articles yesterday linking Wright with a move to Portsmouth.

Also mentioned on the Portsmouth site.

If we are looking at Leicester players what about George Hirst? Likely to be loaned out again albeit perhaps nearer the end of the window if he doesn't break into the first team reckoning.

Did well for Pompous ....

As he is 22 won’t Leicester offer him a contract so that even if he rejects it they would be entitled to compensation from the Club he hopes to sign for?

But if Leicester did that Wright may accept the contract and Leicester would have to honour it.

International - should be granted WP as per any non EU player before Brexit?

The rule only applies to international for countries ranked in the top 50. Finland are 57th.

If this guy was born in Scotland, he is perfectly entitled to play for Scotland. He is, after all, Scottish.

Is it being stated that being Scottish makes it impossible to sign for an English club? If so, the world has gone truly, truly insane!

Being born in the UK doesn't necessarily make him a British citizen if his parents weren't, so entirely possible he has no automatic right to play for a Scottish or English club.

It's slightly academic though because there is absolutely no chance of him signing for Argyle

He wouldn't be remotely interested in coming here, and would command a seven figure transfer fee and wages many multiples those of our highest earning players even if he did.
