i will be glad when this chelsea match in done get back to the league looking forward to crewe
This is an entirely different thing though. This is our once chance a year where we get to show who we are as a club on a big stage. It’s not as important as the league. Of course. It’s a day out. A show. The one of a few times where we slug it out with the big boys. Enjoy it for what it is. The league will take care of itself

If you are going to the Spurs Game on Saturday evening as I know quite a few are; I have just received my weekly email from TFL and whilst the strike by tube staff is still taking place on Saturday evening they intend to run a full service on the Victoria Line (Seven Sisters) . Only the Central Line is running a reduced service. While it will still be busy at Seven Sisters after the game they intend to run a train every two to three minutes southbound into the City from 21:45 onwards.

Edited to say that you will need to get the overground from White Hart Lane 2 stops to Seven Sisters first . They are also showing as every 5-8 minutes after the game

I don't need to cheer up ffs. Just being realistic. How is that team far better than what we are likely to face? Do you have inside knowledge? I suggest you put money on us winning if you think we have a chance. Anything can happen you say so worth a tenner surely?
Well that team there is probably better than Chelsea's best 11 this season and we won't be seeing anywhere near Chelsea's 11 on Saturday so there you go.

Rather donate the tenner to charity thanks mate, if we do win it'll be better than a few hundred quid anyway.

No point going if you don't think we have even the slimmest chance?

On a tour of Canterbury Cathedral today informed that the famous Archbishop Thomas Becket was unusual in always wearing green. Didn’t do him much good when he was martyred, but told that he still works miracles for those who visit his shrine as we did today. So there is hope for Saturday especially as I am sure I heard him chanting Come On You Greens as we left the Cathedral.

I don't get it. You think we have a chance so surely it's worth putting some money on it. Give 50% of winnings to charity. Everyone's a winner. Again I ask what inside knowledge you have on Chelsea's starting 11?

Not much chat on the Chelsea forum about this one, but there seems to be a consensus that it'll be mostly youngsters/reserves, with the exception of Werner and Havertz.

Some of those reserves are still pretty tasty mind.
Wonder if this is true and the first team is on the plane to Dubai. If so, odds of an Argyle win of 37/1; Argyle win 1-0 50/1; Scarr to score anytime 33/1 (all bet365), might be of interest.

I have never been a betting man - the last bet I had was the playoff against Portsmouth (a draw in the away game and an Argyle win in the HP game). Got me enough to buy my Wembley ticket. I think that this game is worth a tenner so, if Argyle win either half, get 9 or more shots in, 5+ corners, are the first team to score, both teams score in either half and Argyle win, I get £214.50. Why not? I've known stranger things happen.

As part of the entry process, are we required to show any covid pass apps to get in? Or has this now all been scrapped now?

It wasn't one bet. Although I do not need an incentive to be interested in the game, I was selective in what I wanted to achieve. I have 7/1 on Argyle scoring first, 10/1 on winning either half, 11/2 on both teams scoring in 1st half, 4/1 on both teams scoring in 2nd half and 14/1 on the draw, as well as 33/1 on an Argyle win. Who is to say that none of this is possible? I only gamble with what I am prepared to lose.
