In an away end where people have stood for many seasons, Chelsea would say that they changed the furniture in that section last August and made the situation safer. They were ahead of the law which has only just caught up this month.Agreed.
Like very many football fans I'm fully in favour of safe standing areas in stadiums. So it's ironic that in implementing it in the way Chelsea have done, it's likely to have set the case for safe standing back, not advanced it. Bizarre really.
Do you have an iphone?Iām useless when it comes to London, could anyone offer some advice as to how easy itāll be to get back to Victoria after the Spurs/Brighton game? Tube or bus preferably.

My Son has been there in the last few weeks, Getting there is no problem but from 2030 on Friday and Saturday nights there is strike action on the Victoria Line with a special service running. He was going back to Kings Cross which is on the line to Victoria and ended up missing his train as it was chaos. tfl.gov.uk is your best bet for planning your trip and for strike updatesI more meant anyone with experience as I imagine itāll be extremely busy.
Bus only will mean getting 4 buses and will take 90 minutesIām useless when it comes to London, could anyone offer some advice as to how easy itāll be to get back to Victoria after the Spurs/Brighton game? Tube or bus preferably.
