Do Rotherham see this player as a no 3 or 4 in the strikers pecking order- i would not be at all surprised to see him loaned out somewhere next season

To me Rotherham will be weaker with Kelly in and Ladapo out. Ladapo has a strike rate of over a goal every 2 matches this season and is a proven striker at this level.

I don't think you will be proven wrong. There may have been quite a few success stories from Ireland but I doubt any of them were 26 when they made the move.

Kelly has had one good season but the rest of his career has been underwhelming at best.

Talking to Rotherham mates last night . They like Ladapo because he gets goals but also say he is lazy. I told them about the locker room stuff and nothing has come out about his attitude up there.

Agreed. I can't imagine he'll have escaped our attentions with that strike rate. I wonder why we've not made enquiries.

I might be biased but if I had the chance of joining Argyle or Rotherham, it would be a no brainer.
I can only think it must be higher wages on offer.

To be fair, they'll probably be in the Championship next season (AGAIN, and no doubt they'll get relegated again) so that will be massive for him.

Bitterly disappointing though , it's one of those weeks clearly.
