This sounds really positive. Hopefully improvements to speed up the lines at the Kiosks in the Devonport/Lyndhurst. Andrew Parkinson seemed to hint at more Hospitality space/improvements.. Would some of the office space at the top of the Grandstand make a good space for a Cafe/Bar? Plenty of potential customers pre and post game.

On the sunny side of the street
Hopefully they will be looking to carry out repairs to the horseshoe roof, save me having to put my hood up when it’s raining ☔️

I don't get the rhetoric to be honest. We are catch cash rich and can only operate within your means

The improvements have been a resounding success if you look at it from a business point of view and the ground is used more than matchdays.

With respect to the upper seats it was always going to be as they are. The design of the terracing won't allow any different. At the time the cost were put out about how much a new stand would cost and there was no way that was affordable.

It's a bit like your own home. You do what you can when you can unless you want to borrow large sums of money.

Well done to the club so far 👏👏👏👏

what's that got to do with it , the (new) grandstand has been a complete waste of money not fit for purpose.
PAFC is a business, fact.

In business you don't always get everything right. That's the point I was trying to make, especially when as an owner you have to delegate projects to other people.

Didn't the Liverpool FA Cup money just about pay for the upgrade at Harper's Park? The FA Cup money from this season will help with a lot of stadium upgrades plus our home attendances are at the highest since 2008.
The club budgeted for average crowds of 11,500 (which seemed too adventurous) for this season but we are currently nearly a 1,000 above that with more big games to come.
Plus the recent £2m insurance payout.

Will those in the offending offices be relocated to 'temporary' portacabins out the back (on rented land if need be)? 'Temporary' only until they fall apart due to old age. [I think this is traditional and a part of local culture].

Poorly thought out design is a Plymouth curse. I remember when the Theatre Royal opened (years ago) accommodation was so tight staff had their 'offices' in the hallways.

Not only Plymouth.

When they built the (then) new Bodmin Place Station, they forgot to put the cells in. :)

Some more really good news from the club, with more to follow.

A slight shame if the offices are being moved elsewhere after a short space of time but if matchday and non-matchday revenue can potentially be generated from this area while solving the crowding issue then it should be done imo.

Totally. Just fascinated by where the new offices go!

I think I speak for fans and office staff in saying PLEASE NO MORE PORTAKABINS :ROFLMAO:

There is scope to extend out behind the grandstand with a mezzanine floor on pillars for the offices.
This allows for the concourse to be made wider, keep the offices at Home Park and keep the fan area (currently the tents for the vaccinations) that is behind the grandstand.
The fan area would then be under cover.

I see Liverpool are expanding the Anfield Road Stand at the moment, by building behind the existing stand and up. Would it be pie in the sky to do similar and add a a few extra tiers to the Grandstand? Solves all the issues with the refurbed stand but I guess cost would be too much?
