My first proper post, but as a lifelong Argyle fan (Iā€™m 55) what Iā€™m enjoying about this season is the the way the team adapts to the different circumstances of games. Pressing home an advantage at HP is one thing, but defending a slender lead is a massive task away from home - 8 minutes of injury time would have made them feel far better than us. Another complete team performance with a number of standouts (what a signing Pan has been).

Thought they had some decent players, we had most of the first half but overall we didnā€™t create enough ā€˜chaosā€™ in their penalty area at all . We needed certain players to have great games but they didnā€™t and they just completely killed the game . Yes itā€™s great game management and their fans donā€™t care but it was a shame that it became a Wycombe poo fest when it was looking like a really good match in the first half .
Plymouth got away with what they could get away with. It may be annoying for us today but I hope we will do the same in the same position. Even for romantics like me football is not a a game for nice guys.

Refreshing. Normally we're the ones complaining about the dark arts. Good to see that we're getting more streetwise.

This team is looking really solid and with some additions in January we couold make a charge towards the top. Without though, we will fall short. Nice to have the likes of Mayor, Edwards, Cooper, Bolton & Ennis all to come back into the fold as well. But we'll need some additions I would think if we are going to maintain form for a longer stretch. Difficult to see Mayor getting back in at all to be honest. He's got to hope for an injury because Camara & Broom cannot be dropped. Their defensive contribution and workrate is superb. Fantastic win & nice to see Garrick grow into the game. He looks like he'll be a very useful player with some games under his belt. Superb composur by Hardie. Very pleasing stuff.

An ugly win away from home. I'm buzzing for that and for 4th place. And Pompey...

That was a seriously accomplished win at a competitive L1 team's own ground. Got to be pleased with that and the way we ground out a win, despite ref's best efforts to hand Wombles a point with 8min added time. Well done the team, the management and the GA who I could hear for the whole broadcast. Happy travels home.

Sheffield Weds 1 Shrews 1, they blame the officials this time.:) 22,000 attendance not too shabby.
Reality of being in League 1. They've left the better officials behind in the upper leagues.

Great result today.

7 games for me is still way to early to know exactly what our season will be like.

l still want to see how we react when the opposition score first. For me the in game tactical battle with opposition managers is still something we need to see how this plays out. 7 games isnā€™t enough to judge l feel. Especially, when we havenā€™t fallen behind in many games.

This is a very good start to the season. The recruitment has been good. We have more experience in the team instead of a bunch of youth premier league and championship players in defensive positions in the team.

The good thing is this season will be hopefully nothing like a covering of the eyes and hoping to scrap a result we witnessed last season.

He is still playing his preferred formation, Mickey.
Apparently, Scarr has never played this system before but he is loving it.
You are right, of course, that it is early days but we can, surely, dream.

Great result. Thought we were off the pace first half and missed Edwards. Garrick not great at defending and they targeted him.

Galloway the unsung hero of our incredible back 3. Wilson and Sarr immense again.

3 shocking pieces of distribution form Cooper that could have cost us.
Decent save low down at the post on the first half.

love Houghton. Cultured.

love the time wasting . We need to be cute.

nice ground. Great pie. Friendly stewards.

good day to be a green.
